Suntally — Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Archer Networks LLC ("Archer Networks," "we," "us," or "our"), a Montana limited liability company, handles information in connection with the Suntally mobile application (the "App"). It applies to your use of the App and should be read together with the Suntally Terms & Conditions.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

Quick Summary

  • We built Suntally to be privacy-first. Your information stays on your device.

  • We do not have user accounts, and we do not collect, store, sell, rent, or monetize your personal data.

  • The only information that leaves your device is your approximate location (GPS coordinates) or the ZIP code you enter, which is sent to third-party weather and location-data providers solely to fetch a forecast for your area.

  • We do not use advertising, analytics, or third-party trackers.

The sections below explain this in more detail. This summary is for convenience only; the full policy controls.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Suntally does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email address, phone number, or payment information to us. Archer Networks does not collect or receive your settings, session history, notes, skin type, location, or any other personal information. We have no servers that store your personal data.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores the information you provide and generate locally on your device only, so that the App can function and remember your preferences and history. This may include:

  • Your settings (such as skin type, daily vitamin D target, theme, and alert preferences);

  • Your saved location label and/or the coordinates or ZIP code you provide;

  • Your logged sun sessions, including duration, estimated values, and any notes you choose to add.

This information remains on your device under your control. It is not transmitted to Archer Networks, and we cannot access it. You can delete it at any time (see "Your Choices and Rights" below).

3. Information Shared With Third-Party Services

To provide UV, weather, and solar estimates for your area, the App sends limited information to third-party data providers:

  • Your approximate location — either the GPS coordinates obtained from your device (if you grant location permission) or the ZIP code you enter manually — is transmitted to third-party weather, UV-index, and geolocation providers to retrieve forecast data for that location.

  • We do not send these providers your name, account details, session history, or notes — only the location needed to return a forecast.

The third-party providers the App currently uses are:

These providers are independent companies that we do not own or control. Any data they receive is handled under their own privacy policies and terms, not ours. We encourage you to review their policies. We may add, remove, or change data providers over time; the App and this policy will reflect the providers in use.

4. Device Permissions

  • Location (optional). The App may ask for permission to access your device location so it can estimate conditions for where you are. This is optional — you can decline it and instead enter a ZIP code, or you can revoke it later in your device settings. If you do not provide a location or ZIP code, location-dependent features will not work.

  • Internet/network access. The App needs an internet connection to retrieve forecast data from the third-party providers described above.

5. How Information Is Used

Information you enter is used only on your device to operate the App's features — for example, to calculate estimates, run session timers, display your history, and remember your preferences. The location data sent to third-party providers is used solely to retrieve a forecast for your area. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, scoring, or sale.

6. We Do Not Sell or Share Your Personal Data

Archer Networks does not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with anyone for advertising or marketing purposes. Because we do not collect your personal data in the first place, we have no such data to sell or share. The only data transmission is the limited location information sent to weather/geolocation providers to make the App work, as described in Section 3.

7. Analytics and Advertising

The App does not include third-party advertising, advertising identifiers, behavioral tracking, or analytics SDKs, and it does not build a profile of you. [If you later add analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or any other data-collection tool, this section and your app-store data-safety disclosures must be updated to describe it accurately.]

8. Data Retention

Because your information is stored locally, it is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. We do not retain copies, because we never receive them.

9. Your Choices and Rights

  • Access and deletion. You control all of your information directly on your device. You can edit or delete individual entries within the App, clear the App's stored data through your device settings, or uninstall the App to remove its locally stored data.

  • Permissions. You can grant or revoke the location permission at any time in your device settings.

  • Privacy laws. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the Montana Consumer Data Privacy Act or the California Consumer Privacy Act. Because we do not collect, sell, or share your personal data, the practical effect is that your information stays in your hands. If you have questions about your rights, contact us using the information below.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for adults (see the Terms & Conditions for age requirements) and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not collect personal data from anyone, no such information is gathered; however, parents and guardians should supervise any child's use of the App and any sun exposure, as children's skin is especially vulnerable.

11. Security

We designed the App to keep your information on your device, which limits exposure. The security of that information also depends on your device's own protections (such as a passcode, encryption, and keeping your software up to date). No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Communications with third-party data providers occur over standard internet connections.

12. International Users

The App may be available in regions outside the United States. If you use the App, any location data sent to third-party providers may be processed on servers located in the United States or other countries, subject to those providers' policies. By using the App, you understand that forecast data is retrieved from third-party services that may operate internationally.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

14. Contact Us

If you have questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or your information, contact:

Archer Networks LLC Montana, USA [Email address] [Mailing address, if desired]

Suntally is designed so that your data stays with you. We don't collect it, we don't sell it, and the only thing that leaves your device is the location needed to fetch your local forecast.
